In 2018, we were in a serious car accident on our way to dance class. Rithika sustained multiple spinal fractures and temporary paralysis, and our family spent months in hospitals and rehabilitation. Along the way, we met families going through similar medical crises—yet many struggled to afford the care, equipment, and support needed for recovery.
We learned first-hand that healing should not depend on financial circumstances.
That belief inspired us to create Arts4Assistance: a way to turn creativity into compassion.
2021 – Ambulance Support Initiative
Raised funds to support the implementation and equipment of emergency ambulance services in underserved communities.
2022 – 2024 – Women’s Shelter & Food Support
Partnered with local organizations to provide meals, essential supplies, and creative community programs for women and families experiencing housing
insecurity.
2025 – 2027 – Mobility & Recovery Initiative (Current)
Providing wheelchairs, mobility aids, repairs, and accessible transport to individuals recovering from unexpected injury, illness, or long-term medical treatment.
Our mission remains the same:
Turn creativity into compassion.

Sister of Mine Are you bleeding just for me?
Sister of Mine There's so much that you can't do Who knows?
I felt it from the first hit I shared with you
That now our dreams May never come true
Sister of Mine Your bones are fractured from the car
There in the hospital And through the buzzing of the crowded doctors It's you
Yes, all we're looking for is you to stand up
A hand A leap A touch A dance
A hold in somebody's arms To warm up the nerves To open the world and send it reeling
A voice that says, I'll be here And you'll be alright
I don't care if I know Just where I will go
'Cause all that I need is this crazy feeling A rat-tat-tat of your feet
Think I want it to stay
Sister of Mine Are you shinning just for me?
Sister of Mine You never danced so brightly
